UPDATE 01/29/21:
Mammography Patients: If you are receiving a COVID vaccine soon, in order to avoid delays in screening, we urge you to schedule your screening mammogram PRIOR to your vaccine.
It has come to our attention that the vaccine can cause lymph node swelling/inflammation, which may cause you to have an unnecessary callback and additional workups. We certainly do not want to cause any unneeded anxiety, so it is best to schedule prior to receiving the vaccine. If you do not come in prior, you will need to schedule a minimum of four weeks after your second vaccine. Unfortunately, if you are currently scheduled and have recently (less than 4 weeks) had a COVID vaccine, we recommend you reschedule.
At this time, in Santa Fe County, essential medical services may continue to operate. As always, we will follow all CDC and NM DOH guidelines for COVID-safety protocols.
In an effort to contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus, all patients must wear a mask, all patients will be required to answer some screening questions, and all patients will have their temperature taken before entry to the building.
Face masks must be fitted and worn over both nose and mouth. Please do NOT wear a face mask with a respirator valve, a bandana, or neck gaiter. For more information, click here. Face shields must be worn only with an appropriate mask underneath. To avoid a delay in your service, please adhere to wearing appropriate face coverings.
When you arrive, if you are being tested for Coronavirus in advance of a surgical procedure, please provide both the surgeon’s name, and the date of your surgery for our records, and for verification, if necessary.
If you are being tested for Coronavirus because of any other reason, we will require a negative result either in writing, or from the NMDOH website. Please be prepared to provide this info to expedite your service.
If you have traveled outside of New Mexico, the US, or have arrived from another state, in the last two weeks, please notify our staff and we will schedule you 14 days from your return to the state.
If you have a fever, cough, gastrointestinal symptoms, or any other symptoms of illness, we ask that you stay home, and schedule once you have recovered.
Thank you for supporting Santa Fe Imaging’s efforts to continue care, and our dedication to keeping the community safe.
